Over the years, we have had the privilege of caring for thousands of patients and families, and we are genuinely grateful for the trust that this community has placed in us. To give back in a meaningful way, we’ve created the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Scholarship Program. Through this program, two local community members facing serious challenges in their recovery from injury or medical conditions will each receive a 40-session hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) package at no cost. This program is designed to support individuals whose recovery has been especially difficult.

Who This Scholarship Is For
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is used alongside standard medical care for certain conditions where increased oxygen delivery may support healing or brain function. While it is not a cure, some patients experience benefits in the following situations:
Orthopedic / post-surgical / wound-healing: Slow-healing surgical sites, chronic or hard-to-heal wounds, and some radiation-related tissue injuries, where extra oxygen can support tissue repair.
TBI, concussion, and neurologic recovery: Persistent symptoms after traumatic brain injury or concussion and certain stroke-related changes, where HBOT has been studied for its potential to support brain blood flow, reduce inflammation, and aid neuroplasticity.
Neurodegenerative and cognitive decline: Emerging research is exploring HBOT as a supportive therapy in conditions such as mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease, focusing on blood flow, inflammation, and brain metabolism.
This scholarship is intended for adults in our local community who:
Are recovering from injury or medical conditions such as slow-healing wounds, post-surgical complications, traumatic brain injury, radiation-related tissue injury, neurodegenerative conditions, or similar concerns.
Feel that their recovery has stalled or that their condition significantly limits daily life.
Face financial or access barriers that make HBOT difficult or impossible right now.
Can travel regularly to our Post Falls or CDA resort shops facility for treatment.
Our team will review all applications carefully and select recipients based on the overall picture of medical need, impact on daily life, potential for benefit from HBOT, and access barriers.
Whether HBOT is appropriate for you will be decided only after a separate clinical evaluation with our team and in coordination with your existing medical providers.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By applying for this package, applicants agree that BPi reserves the sole discretion to select the winner based on eligibility criteria it deems appropriate. Individuals of any age may apply; however, applicants under the age of 18 must have parental consent, and all applicants, regardless of age, may be required to provide physical consent where applicable in order to receive and use the package. The awarded package consists of a 40-session HBOT package with an approximate value of $4,000, and services will be provided at either the Post Falls location or the CDA Resort Shops location, as determined by BPi. This package is non-transferable and may only be used by the selected winner. All sessions must be used within two (2) years of issuance, after which any remaining sessions will expire and become void. The winner agrees to comply with all BPi policies and terms, including but not limited to cancellation policies, no-show policies, and BPi’s right to refuse service.
